Current members of
the Sonshine Security crew can begin signing up for Sonshine each year on
March 1. Even if you're still undecided as of March 1 I still need to hear
from you so I don't think I have to hunt you down later. Simply let me know
you're undecided using the link on the Sonshine Festival page of our web site.
The deadline for your final decision is April 1. After that I cannot guarantee
a spot on the crew for you. Once you have confirmed you will work Sonshine
this year, your $25 deposit holds your place. You need not send any money
as your deposit is already on file, unless you had to cancel last year for
any reason, were an alternate, or are an incoming rookie. More info about
your deposit can be found on the Sonshine Security Policies page. The lineup
for Sonshine can be found at www.sonshinefestival.com
and the flyers will soon be at a bookstore near you. You will need the list
of bands to choose from before signing up. Please read CAREFULLY the following
instructions for your signing up.
Arrival time in Willmar is no later 6pm WEDNESDAY, with our Security meeting starting promptly at 7pm. (Wristbands, Meal Tix, T-shirts, and Schedules will be distributed from 5-7pm, at the Indoor Stage) I will e-mail schedules out in early June, but I will no longer need confirmation that you've received it. Most students have headed home by this time and it's hard to locate you all over again by e-mail or phone.
You have until April 1 (April Fools Day) to decide every year. When you have made your decision please submit to me your response and choices, at which time we will begin interviewing the new class of recruits, and your guaranteed spot on the crew is lost. Schedules should be complete by the middle of June and will be e-mailed to you at that time. Please inform me if your e-mail address should change.
